my son is suffering from full cough I have doubt what Is the difference between wet cough and dry cough

A. When there is wet cough actually comes out of the mouth and congestion is in the throat and all when it is dry it’s loud but it is just not having any cough actually in the body which is in liquid form so that’s the only difference in fact sometimes dry cough can be more trouble for a child
