Increase the intake of zinc. Wheat bran, cashew nuts and pumpkin seeds. Ask your doctor whether any zinc supplements can be given. Ginger juice with honey increases appetite. Offer sweetened fresh lime juice instead of water. Lime improves digestion and
appetite. Make sure that the child is engaged in atleast 30-45 mins of physical activity everyday. Go easy on fatty products and dairy as these are the reason for low appetite. Add a dash of spices like oregano, fennel, coriander (leaves and seeds) and cinnamon in your kid's food as these are spices and herbs that aid in building an appetite. Give yoghurt. Offer small portions of food and give more only when the kid asks for more. Peanuts and peanut butter also increase appetite. Offer water 30 mins before meal time.
