Q.

My son is 4 years old and keeps picking on his gums. I was told it could be coz of B12 deficiency. How can I ascertain this.. Are there any tests to determine this deficiency?

A. definitely there are test for vitamin B12 levels and you can go for that Consultation with doctor personally , is required because examination of the baby is necessary to arrive on a conclusive diagnosis and prescribe accordingly. Maintain adequate hygiene to prevent risk of infection and stay safe
