my son is 4 months 20 days old, having 99.7 f fever can I give him SINEREST drops?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. , your baby boy is 5 months old and he is having a fever upto 99.7 degrees then it’s not a fever and it doesn’t need any medicine but frequent breast feeding

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhgfalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
