Q.

My son is 3.5 years old. weight approx 12.5 kg. having watery motion since last two days. should I give sporolac ds sachet or syrup. And what is the dose.

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting angd its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associahuted with foul smell muccous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
