My son is 2yrs 10 months old. He had viral fever recently and now is coughing a lot. We showed a pediatrician and the fever has subsided. However, he is refusing to eat and is sleeping quite often. Is this a reason to worry?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy2 years agoA. it is very common that during the illness the child will not take food. give small amount of easily digestible food to the child many times if you take the child in garden or open area that will cheer up the child and that might improve the appetite give regular water and fluids to the dchild to improve hydration because that will also improve appetite you can give fruits as well as juices from the fruits which againd acts as appetizer during illness if the child takes 60% to 70% of the diet then also it's fine
