Q.

My son is 2years and 3months old and he is drooling.. he is hyperactive and still bottle feed . He has stopped following commands and he makes eye contact but responds very less on his name. He throws each and every objects. He rarely understands thing told and speaks very few words.

A. Excessive drooling in an otherwise typically developing child may be due to an abnormal oral sensitivity, with or without a delay in the muscle control. Less commonly it is due to excess production of saliva. Other causes may include oral infections, nasal obstructions and medications.
