Q.
my son is 2 year 2 month old with weight 11.6 kg... he is suffering from fever from last 4 days we used cefixime 50mg for 3days but it didn't subside...now doctor has prescribed injections of 250mg for 5days is it necessary for injections or should we increase cefixime oral suspension to high power

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. without looking at the child is difficult to tell whether oral antibiotics has to continue or injection needs to be given but if you are in confusion you can get the child examined with another doctor
