Q.
my son is 2 months 20 days old and he is having wet cough from 6 day .. but still its not reduced plz suggest me any good medicine

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol cguan be given to reduce the fever and the dose cahn be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

See you should go for medicine only suggested by the doctor because a child is too small to give any medicine as such but yes I can only advise you to start nebulising the child along with the medications that you are giving to the childWrite Your Answer Here
