my son is 2.6 year old and he is not talking. only speaking words about object or his gibberish but not speaking or replying

So is your child understanding and responding well to you when you look at the child or you ask a question is the child responding with gestures or one word if your child is understanding and responding well that means there is no delay in the growth or in terms of understanding but if the child is not responding responding well and only talking gibberish all the time then it’s better to get it checked with a speech therapist one
