My son is 1yrs old & has weather change allergic reaction...the moment weather changes he gets cough & cold...its been 15 days now...our pead suggested for antibiotics for 5days & we are putting nasal drop & giving him steam too...pls advise how to deal with this problem & till wat age does it continue.

it appears to be allergic cough/cold.
they can be associated with temperature vasriations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental chsanges) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning.
requires examination and start anti allergic medicines.
meet dr and prevent such temperature variations. 
there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization.
