My son is 14 month old but he didn’t speak any single word is it ok

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age cbyou need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

Yeah Some kids pick up little late on speaking so if you want you can take assistance for me the ent doctor to know if there is any issue with the child that your child is in speaking as of now or else if required you can wait up till the age of two years and then take a guidance from a speech therapist on same
