Q.

My son is 13 months old. He got first new tooth day before yesterday. He is suffering from fever from yesterday morning. Giving him calpol syrup for every 6 hours. Still the fever existing today also. Is there anything to worry about?

A. hello dear mom, during teething, fever is generally low grade if he has high fever than you need to consult your paedriatian. increase breast feeding. rc.

A. In general, a teething fever will begin about one day before the tooth erupts, and it goes away after it cuts through the gums. There's not much you can do to prevent or break a teething fever; your child's temperature will go down on its own within a couple of days.
