My son has diarrhoea since Saturday. His paediatrician said it's viral diarrhoea and it's an epidemic in Mumbai at the moment. Can you please suggest if it is okay for this to last so long? I'm a bit worried about the continuous diarrhoea. Also we got a stool test done and it was normal.

Sometimes loose motions can be there for a week also and that’s completely normal your doctor has given you proper guidance and they would be suggesting you with medication medication from your own side you should try these home remedies where you should completely stop giving milk give more of banana and curd to the child curd rice sweet curd and also sabudana water it helps a lot in controlling loose motions
