My son 8 months old. he is Having fever from last midnight . what medicine we can give to him

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can bec again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repevfating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required

A. 3 months to 6 months: 2.5ml of infant paracetamol suspension, given up to four times per day. 6 months to 24 months: 5ml of infant paracetamol suspension, given up to four times a day.
