Q.

My premature newborn baby aged 3.5 months, corrected age 6 days had ROP and underwent laser treatment in both eyes. The doctor has recommended using high contrast vision cards to help focus her vision and improve brain development. However, she does not look at the cards at all and looks everywhere else. Is it too early for her to be able to see the cards? Any tips for helping her focus on the cards?

A. yes it's a bit difficult to help her concentrate, but you need to try as much possible. have proper follow-up with your doctor and follow all instructions properly. but don't stress yourself and try to enjoy more with her

A. Hai good evening !! Generally babies start looking focussing after 3-4 months so it is early to find about focusing as baby went to treatment. If you have any doubts consult and talk to the eye specialist as baby went laser treatment follow the doctors advice .
