Q.
My one month old boy has colic. I was advised by doctor to give him Colistat drops whenever he has colic episodes, maximum thrice a day with gap of 6 hours. My kid has colic episodes everyday day majorly at night and since pas 2 days i have to give him drops thrice a day. Is it safe to give him drops this frequently?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. yes you can give anti-colic medicines maximum three or four times per day also but it is very important to do regular burping of the child stomach massage and tummy time for more than fifteen or twenty minutes and if the child is crying for more than 15 minutes then only give this medicine
