Q.

my nephew is 4 months old and weighing around 7kg. he had his vaccination and is having fever now.. I'm having paracetemol of 250mg/5ml oral suspension.. could you please suggest how much to give a 4 months baby and the frequency as well?

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treavctment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required
