Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. gastrocolic reflex is very normal in children. in this phenomena the child is having semi solid to solid stool after every episode of of food intake. with the growth of the child is proper there is no need to 5worry about this phenomena. it is also advisable to continue curd buttermilk apple and banana which will help in proper digestion of food. usually this phenomena de7creases with increasing age of the child
