Q.

my kid is 2 years old. he is having fever 38.2°c now. what medicine should i give him ? plz tell me the medical along with doses for 2 yrs old. (no cough no cold)

A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are ustually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewharm water is also helpful . Doctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

You can go ahead with giving Calpol to the child as of now the dosage is going to be about 2.5 ML this is something on the minimum and standard side I am telling you rest would actually completely depend on the current weight of the child you can repeat the medicine after every six hours ifWrite Your Answer Here
