Q.

my elder daughter age 12 years old brushes her teeth nicely, has probiotics in her diet, drinks enough water , no tonsils problem, but still her mouth smell bad .... we use colgate toothpaste what could be the reason ? any special toothpaste and treatment.

A. Bad Breath in Babies...bacteria feasts on the sugars leftover on your babies gums and tongue and produces foul smelling - Give low sugar diet. Mouth breathing is also a reason during nose block..give steam inhalation to get rid of nose block. Give some water after each feeding.. avoid reflux causing foods, which is another cause of bad breath. Wipe your baby’s teeth, gums, andtongue with a clean, damp, soft cloth after each feeding.
