Q.

My dr has suggested iron supplement to my 13 month baby. I am giving him that since 3 days and I observe his poop is dark grey in Color. Is it normal or we have to visit to dr.

A. Iron pills or supplements can make your child's stool greenish or grayish black. This is normal.

Q. My baby girl is 13 months old eating all solids also an iron supplement Drop A to Z and Tonoferon. Sometimes the color of her poop is chalkish, sometimes grey and sometimes yellow,green in solid or liquid form. I am worried bcoz of grey and chalkish color please suggest.
