My daughter recovered from UTI recently. We got a urine report two days ago indicating 2-4 puss cells. yesterday onwards she started showing similar symptoms again. can it reoccur so quickly?

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 1 year old now pus cell ar normal and acceptable in few numbers just give plenty of fluids including fruit juice like orange grapes and lime juice

Yes It can re-occur because if the treatment is not done properly and the UTI does not subside then yes it can quickly reappear but for that you will have to first get it checked with your doctor whether it has reappeared or that is some other issue that has happened suddenly over the period
