My daughter of 2 months only wants to sleep in my lap and cries when I place her in the crib

A. it is very common that during the initial few months the child gets comfortable sleep only in the arms or lap or shoulder of the caretaker andy when you shift to bed the child might gstart crying. this is fine and normal and usually improves with age. you can use swaddling technique as well as cradle sleep to improve the sleep cycle of the child.
