Q.

my daughter is having dry cough and fever from 7 days. blood test showing high infection. giving medicine as per doctor. but still not getting reduced. any suggestion

A. Sometimes these infections can take time to subside it can even take a week to 15 days depending upon the severity of the infection that your child is having so if your doctor advised to take medicine for a certain time continue with that still if the child doesn’t get better with time then you’ll have to reconnect with your doctor for further assessment

Q. My baby is 1 yr old. He has fever 10 days back with cold n cough. After blood test, his tlc comes high 17000. Doctor gave some antibiotics and medicine for infection. Today, blood test is done again after 10 days but tlc is still high 16900. But no fever, cold n minor cough. Doctor examined and said it’s ok to have such high tlc. As per him, sometimes infection remain in blood but as baby is active nd no other signs are there. So no medicine is given. One other thing is baby is not taking milk since last 2 months other than breastmilk. Also, eating really less since last 10 days. Is it ok to have such high tlc or should we need to consult any other doctor.
