Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine whhich should be given only aftegr a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Ambrodil-S Syrup is a combination of Ambroxol and Salbutamol / Albuterol which relieve cough. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Salbutamol is a bronchodilator which widens the airways by relaxing its muscles. Together, they make breathing easier.
