my daughter is coughing since last 7 days and already consulted with two doctors. suggested medicines name are mentioned below. 1- defrost (5ml twice a day) 2- swich 50 (3.5ml twice a day) 3- coriminic oral drop (1ml thrice a day) please suggest are the named medicines effective

A. it is the flu season. Cough and cold may be due to viral flu or seasonal changes . Steam can be started at home as a home remedy . If cough is severe then medicine like ascoril can be given .
