Q.
My daughter is 5 yrs old she had cough cold and fever and when we went to doctor he told it's viral fever... but fever and cough is on and off from past two weeks.. even two days back when we again visited doctor he told it's viral fever.. doc has given calpol 250mg syrup and ambrodil - s for cough and cold.. please suggest why the fever and cough is on and off for past two weeks..

If it has been for more than two weeks I would suggest you to get a blood test done because even if it is a viral fever subsides within 5 to 6 days on the higher side if it is diagnosed at the right time Finn since it has been two weeks it’s better to have a proper examination for the situation
