My Daughter is 5 yrs 6 months and she is having high fever. Doctor gave antibiotics and fever drop down after taking medicine but again after 2 days, she is having high fever. The antibiotics course is still on then why she is having fever now.

A. Could be associated with viral and a lot of times it could be associated with infections though I agree that you are giving antibiotic maybe the infection hasn’t started to subside which is the fever is still high the fever doesn’t subside by the time of three days I would recommend you to consult your doctor again
