Q.

My daughter is 4.5 years old. from last 6-8 months she got cough and cold every month. please give us a solution and advise that how we can get rid of this ?

A. Hello , your baby girl is 4.5 years old and she is having a cough at every month so increase her immunity and don’t give her a milk and milk proteins

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cotugh needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicinhe which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
