Q.

my daughter is 3 years and 2 months old..she used to sleep in the afternoon for 2-3 hours but now she is not taking her nap..she is taking her nap around 5 in the evening and then the sleeping time at night is also getting delayed..is this normal or how can I put her back to her previous sleeping routine..she is going to school in morning for 3 hours

A. for big children it is important to increase the physical activity of the child during the daytime and also see that the child is drinking plenty of water and is having a good diet just before sleep but at the same time the diet should be easily digestible and not very heavy diet which is causing more gas formation becaused that also can lead to digestion problem and that can disturb the sleep. also it is important to look for any environmental disturbance which is affecting the sleep like temperature variations as well as the mattress problem. rule out constipation which might be causing gastric disturbance xand change in sleep pattern
