Q.

my daughter is 2.1 yrs.. she is 10.6 kgs.. she has constipation and is having pegclear syrup daily for 2 months. but whenever we stop giving her the medicine, her constipation reccurs. she is having adequate vegetable along with banana and musaumbi juice daily.. we r worried and wanted to know is giving pegclear on daily basis harmful or habit forming.. please suggest..

A. use medicines occasionally for constipation Constipation is quite common in babies you have to do modification of food will be taking we have to include fibre in the diet of the baby you lot of fruits seasonally available like mango papaya banana and adequate water for the baby to drink
