Q.
My daughter is 16 month old and hasnot started speaking yet.Once a while I hear a word from her and never hear it again.Even after asking her to repeat she keeps quite. Is this normal or she needs help?

it's completely normal if the child is trying to speak or making some sounds then it is completely normal
communication is different for each babies.
babies will start to communicate almost around 16 to 18 months.
now their communication may not be very clear but they will be able to say few words.
but every child is different so there are some early speakers or late speakers.
reduce the use of mobile and TV for a better communication.
just communicate with him continuously and point out this objects and name them, repeat it until the baby is able to say it.
have patience as it comes very slowly.
