My daughter has had a rough, hoarse voice and a sore throat for the last 2-3 days due to frequent screaming. Appreciate your advice on how to treat her ?

A. I think you should consult your health care provider about the throat. having said that, check if it's an onset of a cough. also my 6MO has started screaming when she is sleepy but doesn't want to sleep. so if you find out why your 6mo is screaming, you will avoid the noise and also settle the throat issue. regards, another first time mother struggling to keep my baby healthy and alive 😅

A. it is very common that's small children will cry as well as shout and scream during communication which may cause change in a voice but does not require any treatment and it should improve on its own
