my daughter birth weight 4.17 now she is 3.8 age :40 days is it normal?

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy4 years agoA. Hello good morning !! Yes it is normal to loose weight in the initial days after birth around 200-400gm and later they put on weight as usual.
Generally babies increase ideally around 400-800 gm per month.
No need to worry about weight feed every two hours and Burp after every feed.
