Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalation would be beneficial .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the jsymptoms .

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. so can be. cold and cough can be due to viral or season change so for this start giving indirect steam inhalation to baby . If cough increase or breathing difficulty of any type then immediately consult a doctor soon .
It s a myth that cold can occur due to some foods like egg ghee banana orange or so .
