my child's dry cough has not stopped since the last 2 days, only while the sleeping frequency is very less. His age is 2 years and 9 months. The pediatrician has given a cough suppressant cufbeat syrup but no improvement. What can be done for relief?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
alonkg with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalkoation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
