my child is urinating less.kindly note that he has been given medicine for cold cough by the doctor. kindly suggest what needs to be done. he is 5m14days old

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. urinary pattern in small children is totally different. they may pass more than 20 times per day urine also and sometimes they will paass urine again and again in only one hour.
the minimum requirement would be more than 7 times in 24 hours. if it is less give more breast feeding or milk and if it is more no need to worry if the child is not having any other complaint
