Q.

My child is 4.5 years old his vaccination is scheduled next month, earlier he was given painless form of DaTP, can I give him painfull form of vaccine this time that is DTP?

A. yes it can be given now and Vaccination is important for prevention from diseases so it should be given and not be delayed much . Some of delay is ok but vaccination chart should be followed and all vaccines are important that are in the chart .

A. Consult your paediatrician for same, Babies need 3 shots of DTaP to build up high levels of protection against diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough. Then, young children need 2 booster shots to maintain that protection through early childhood.
