Q.

My child is 2 months and 14 days old. From past 1 week is himself doesn’t ask for milk in the night. He usually sleeps for 4-5 hours in the night and then start crying for milk. 3-4 days back he had diarrhoea and still he is pooping 6-7 times a day. Is it normal.

A. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittendt burping . there is no need to to go for fixed feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits . also if the wdeight gain of the child every month is normal then no need to worry regarding the pattern of breastfeeding

A. If your child is not suffering with loose motion as of now there is no problem with that regular motion can be easily 67 times in the day and if your child is sleeping for a longer stage without taking a feeding in the night then also it is not a problem that is completely normal for a child
