Q.

My child is 1.5 month old. She has cough and chest blocking problem. Please suggest the home remedy.

A. I have consult the doctor & they gave me sinarest & Asthakind P syrup for her. I aslo want to know home remedy so she get well soon.

A. Cough is a protective reflex of the body to expel out the mucus or any irritant factor from the respiratory tract which is most of the time assosiated with cold due to any viral or bacterial infection . A proper examination is required to find the cause . As a home remedy you can start with steam inhalation . Cough can be treated with cough suppressant or antitussivegs as per the causfe. For cold antihistamines are useful and nasal saline drops are also benifecial .

A. Ma’am there is no such home remedy for such a small child I suggest you go ahead with medication to the child after consulting a doctor the baby is too small please do not write any of the home remedies as of now
