My child has fever since Wednesday, doctor has suggested calpol 250 for initial 2 days and then suggested antibiotic clamp kid forte. I started antibiotic yesterday but still fever is there

So antibiotics does not make fever subside and immediately and also you should continue with the fever medicine for 2 to 3 days is usually take 72 hours for the fever to subside even if you’re giving antibiotics so that is completely fine there is no problem in that
