my child has completed 4 years...but he is not speak properly..is it ok or not

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the spfreech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. hello it is not ok and would be better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to advise you with speech therapy if required which can help to improve the speech in kids and also encourage your child and give your child more opportunity to speak
