ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Don’t worry much about it as now the child is about to be 3vyears and pre primary school will start and once the child starts schooling you see lots of changes in them gradually so interact more and encourage him to speak more

Pooja he takes me in kitchen for water and takes me to door to take him out, takes me near bike to go for a ride but he doesn't talk.. he makes eye contact with everyone when we sing any rhymes but hardly responds to his name.. is this normal???

May not keep eye contact or makes little or no eye contact.Shows no or less response to a parent's smile or other facial expressions.May not look at objects or events a parent is looking at or pointing to.May not point to objects or events to get a parent to look at them.
