Q.

my babys stool is yellowish in color. but the consistency is some what thick and has some mucus in it. also she is passing stool after 3 days and the amount is minimal. her stool and farts have foul smell. even after pooping she has smelly farts is it normal?

A. Foul-smelling gas If you can't link the gas with a particular food, it's possible your baby may be experiencing a stomach infection. Watch him or her for other signs of infant gastroenteritis, such as a change in the amount of both gas and stools, vomiting, poor feeding, and fussiness.

A. if there is mucus better to consult the Dr to examine on it
