Author of questionFather of a 5 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. thank you for your responses. we make sure baby have proper meals along with healthy snacks. have not introduced packed food or chocolates yet to him to avoid his food prefences. its difficult sometime to introduce new food or fruits when he doesn't like taste. will wait for another month if his weight improves. as of now, we have seen 10 percentile of growth since his birth weight. look forward to introduce more nutrients food to him.

To help baby gain weight, include fat and protein rich foods like potato, rice, pumpkin, sweet potato, eggs, chicken, fish, legumes, ghee, milkshakes with dry fruits, banana, avocado, paneer and 550-650 ml milk everyday including variety of fluids like water, fresh juices, curd, buttermilk and coconut water. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks and avoid sugar, fried and packaged foods.
