Q.

my baby started teething. she has fever. 99 temperature. should I give paracetamol?

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you dcan also do cold hsponging of the body if required

A. If Exactly 99° fahrenheit then there is no requirement of giving medicine to the child as of now but if the fever increases more than 99 then it would be fever and then you’ll have to give the medicine, as of now I don’t think so it would be required
