ExpertArchanaNutritionist4 years agoA. Hi , baby's weight usually depends on his / her birth weight. however, we can expect baby to gain about 500 gm in a month, double at 6 months and triple at the age of 1 year as per birth weight. if your baby is active, happy, and reaching milestones, then nothing to worry.
along with breastfeeding, you can include boiled and smashed potato and pulses, paneer, porridge, nuts powder, smahsed banana and chikko, soft cooked and smashed khichdi, roti or paratha smashed in less spicy curry / dal , veg upma, veg poha, sheera, porridge, pancake, thin dosa, etc and use ghee in meal preparations.
feed on regular intervals after 2 hours, maintain good hygiene and avoid force feeding and overfeeding.

Nandita BaranwalMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hi,
Yeah weight is good dear. Generally babies get their weight thrice by 1 year and twice by 6 month of their birth weight.
Continue breastfeeding till 1 year and after. Start giving semi solid and solid food. Give Home made nutritious food.
