Q.

My baby just went through the 7 day antibiotic course via injection because she was suffering from stomach infection. It's been 4-5 days and she is suffering from fever for the last 2 days. The doctor advised to take paracitamol (6 ML) at an interval of 6 hours. He has not started any antibiotics. My concern is that we should start antibiotics again and is the fever normal after the stomach infection.

A. Hello my dear parent! Complete the course of treatment as advised by the doctor and there will be a gradual improvement in the condition. Always keep your child’s doctor informed about any changes or further concerns. Good luck and take care.
