My baby is used to sleeping in the cloth swing.. how do I transition from the swing to sleeping on bed?

A. these are general habits of babies which are formed because how we deal with kids. it will take some time for these habits to change. initially it will be difficult as baby is habituated to the swing. dont worry keep trying. its not immpossible

A. this has to be a gradual process. every time after making the child sleep you have to place the child on the bed. during initial few days the child will try but afterwards it will becomea norm

Q. #AskTheExpert Dear Doctor, My 1year Six month old son used to sleep on the bed during the night. And sleep in the swing during the day for naps. After periodic vaccination he got fever and we couldn’t make him sleep on the bed and had to use the swing for 3-4 nights. After that he got COVID and continued sleeping in the swing for another 10days. Now he is habitual to the swing motion and not sleeping on the bed. We tried taking him out of the swing after he is asleep but he wakes up after an hour on the bed and starts crying.We tried for 15-20 minutes but couldn’t stop crying. Now we are forced to make him sleep in the swing overnight. Then also he gets up every 1 hr and we have to do the swing motion. This disturb our sleep too. We haven’t slept properly for 2 weeks. Please advice us on this how to get back the habit of sleeping on the bed. Thanks
